Greensboro, NC (September 7, 2021) – Cooper takes pride in their commitment to giving back to those in need, whether it be in their local communities or those across the world.

September 5th, 2021 was International Day of Charity. To celebrate this day of charity, Cooper allowed their employees to choose charities for which they would like to see a donation made.

Employees were able to vote on charities they felt most passionate about, choosing three out of a list of charities that represented the diversity of our workforce. The top three charities then received a donation from the company. The charity with the most votes, Children’s Hunger Fund. (https://childrenshungerfund.org/give), received $3,000. -The charity with the second most votes, All God’s Children (allgodschildrenhonduras.org), received $2,000, and- the charity with the third most votes, Samaritan’s Purse (https://www.samaritanspurse.org/), received $1,000.

The Senior Vice President of Children’s Hunger Fund, Michael Richards, had this to say:

“I just wanted to say thank you for your gift on behalf of Cooper Electrical Construction Company today to Children’s Hunger Fund! Wow! It is always fascinating to learn how amazing friends find CHF and I just want to say thank you properly, if you do not mind letting me. I love the titles on your web page, it speaks to the culture of fun that you all must have at the office. Thank you so much for your time, and God bless you and your team. We are grateful!”

Cooper plans to do this each year on International Day of Charity. May these donations bless those that are in need.
