Greensboro, NC (December 8, 2020) – In the Spirit of the holidays, Cooper Electrical Construction Company is proud to support The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.
Supporting Angel Tree has become a 5-year long tradition for Cooper. Getting into the giving spirit early is important in a year like this, where everything requires more planning. This year, to make the process safer for everyone, the Salvation Army gathered gift card donations in lieu of physical gifts for their Angel Tree project. This reduced the number of volunteers needed and reduced personal contact with families. In previous years, Cooper has volunteered at the Salvation Army toyshop processing toys or helping Chick-fil-a stuff stockings.
“When thinking about Christmas, the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program is one of the first charities I turn to. We really love angel tree because of how they spread the Christmas spirit through making sure young boys and girls growing up in poverty still have a present to open on Christmas. It’s a great organization with a Christian background that we’ve built a good relationship with over the years.” commented Jennifer Carter, Chief Financial Officer.
Cooper is sponsoring 100 children and 100 senior adults this holiday season. We encourage others to do what they can to spread the joy this upcoming holiday season.
